If we do move toward a ‘verified contributor’ model, the most critical part will be the onboarding path. We need a transparent set of criteria that grants PR rights.
My concern is that ‘mental’ verification (as Tim mentioned) favors those already in the inner circle. If we formalize this, let’s make not make it just a barrier to entry.
