# Online Community Working Group Kick off meeting - 30/04/25

- Idea’s Project in Github
  - Stages of a project and how an idea would progress between stages with approximate timings
    - Untriaged/Owner required/Ready to start/In progress/Needs Review or Board Approval/Completed/
      - Example: similar to New Features having multiple end point.
        - Also having a template (but this does not require a project).

  - Input’s we require for an idea
    - platform’s affected (Forum, Discord, Github, Reddit?)
    - Name of idea
    - description
    - Rationale
    - Problem this is solving or the gap that exists
    - would you like to be involved in this idea
    - other people that would like to be involved (github usernames).
    - other details

  - Reactions - copy new features
    - Add rocket ship for wanting to help out on that idea

  - README to explain it all
  - Blog post to announce it
  - Gather existing ideas first after the project is created

- Dan R shared updates from the CoC group - refreshed CoC is being worked on
  - Andy shared a link to CoC training: [Code of Conduct Enforcement Training – Otter Tech](https://otter.technology/code-of-conduct-training/)

- Natalia proposed meeting more often and having a more European friendly timed second meeting slot
  - Andy suggested monthly and agreed with the European friendly time.

- Copy new-features repo for inspiration of setup and workflows
