Hello Django users,

Last year I posted here about the first MariaDB Foundation survey, and a good number of Django users took part - thank you! This year’s MariaDB Database Survey 2026 is open and ready for your input: [MariaDB's Database Survey 2026](https://mariadb.typeform.com/to/tS69UzVo?utm_source=djangoforum)

We revamped last year’s questions to gain new insights and split some questions by role so you can choose what to answer. It’s also open to users of other databases this year - if your Django runs on Postgres, SQLite or MySQL, we’d like to learn and share insights about those cases too. With over 400 answers so far we have already surpassed last year’s total, and the goal is to go well beyond. Looking forward to reading your reply!

You should be done in under 10 minutes. The survey is anonymous and closes in mid-October. The results will be published as a public report, same as last year.

Thank you for participating in this MariaDB community effort!

Robert Silén, MariaDB Foundation

I seem to be encountering an error. Can I try something else for you?

Thanks for sharing this! I had a look at the survey, and I’m glad it includes Django users running PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, and MariaDB. The role-specific questions sound helpful too. I’ll take part and look forward to reading the public report.
