Have you seen https://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/31949 - I think it’s solving a very similar problem.
Thanks for pointing me to this - I had not seen this (was querying for http decorators). Glad to see someone is on this already. I can see on the PR that the HTTP decorators are not addressed yet, so maybe I can help Ben Lomax with the fixes.
Thanks all of you for this awesome framework. Just wanted to understand the state of our django shipped middleware as of 4.1 release (the one I am using currently). Also wanted to keep the discussion updated as many might land here after a Google Search.
