We upgraded an old project 2 years ago, from `Python v2.7 + Django v1.8` to `Python v3.7 + Django v3.1`, and fixed some compatibility issues during the change. The project has been working OK after the upgrade, and so far, so good in most parts.

However, we noticed an exception when logging out of the admin console, saying `'future' is not a registered tag library`, and the error traced back to `django_admin_bootstrapped`. See more details about the exception below.

Although a quick dirty workaround is to ignore the error, we want to find an elegant solution for the issue. Trying to find an update for `django_admin_bootstrapped`, we checked:

- the [original repository](https://github.com/django-admin-bootstrapped/django-admin-bootstrapped), which got the last release v2.5.7 in 2015, and
- followed a [readthedocs.io link](https://django-admin-bootstrapped3.readthedocs.io/en/latest/) to a [forked repository](https://github.com/darrylcousins/django-admin-bootstrapped3), which also stopped updating many years ago.

In our current framework of Python+Django, the two repositories above lead to different compatibility issues because they both support Django v1.x, and we did not find any recent development for Django 3.1 or higher.

So, we wonder:

- Is there any update if other projects still use `django_admin_bootstrapped`?
- Is there any replacement for this module?
- Or if I missed something, please kindly remind me.
