I have accepted the tickets for Search, Color and Tel. There are already some PRs for these, so we’ll review them as soon as we can!

@claudep would you have any feedback on the above? I’m triaging the newly created tickets and I have found some commentary from you from 11 years ago that I’d like to take into consideration before continuing.
I do agree with the conclusions of this thread, thanks for the up-to-date research!
As for date inputs (type="date"), I’m beginning using them in my own projects, and I’m rather satisfied with cross-browser support.
