Can anyone tell me what is “Triage Stage” in a ticket?

It’s the stage the ticket is in as part of triage. Someone will review the ticket, and if it’s valid, marks it as “Accepted”.

The ticket has not been reviewed by anyone who felt qualified to make a judgment about whether the ticket contained a valid issue or ought to be closed for any of the various reasons.

However, it’s up to the reviewer to self-assess whether they’re “qualified” to make said judgement. The opener of the ticket (or someone from the same organisation / with a vested interest) probably shouldn’t be the one to “accept” the ticket.
