As a follow-up to Changing the ‘congrats’ page – I’d like to propose a dark theme for this page. Here’s a first draft design – what do you all think?
This will be a nice little improvement that follows along with the dark theme added to the Django admin, improving the Congrats page accessibility by respecting users’ theming preferences. And it keeps the Congratulations page fresh.

I think the page looks great in dark mode. The only objection I have is,
that the rocket graphics, as it is, does not work on a dark background.
Agreed, the page looks good in the dark mode, it’s just that the rocket’s colour needs to be modified and the outlines of the rocket too as i think. How about using the same colours which are used in the texts on the page? (Green and white) I will give the design a try to see how it looks.

Great! I wanted to try different colours as well, but didn’t find the
time for it. Curious to see what you can come up with.
Extreme rough draft, please ignore the pixelation
I’ve taken the colors of the rocket and fumes, and made them WCAG AAA compliant. Wanted to provide a visual representation, so the colors are either approved or not.

I like your smoke, the fill of the rocket and the orange fire.
I would have the same color for the top triangle and the rocket “wings” as light grey.
Then make the outlines in negative (which here would just be black) - that looks sharper to me
On those points, something like this (but with your fire color etc)

Gotcha, yes, I can see where the negative outlines work out better.
