Hello Django Community,
My name is Victor Oduor, and I am thrilled to share my Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2025 proposal: Automate Processes Within Django Contribution Workflow. This project aims to enhance Django’s contribution process by automating key tasks such as PR triaging, release management, and stale PR handling using GitHub Actions and workflows.
I am an automation enthusiast eager to sharpen my skills in CI/CD while learning from the entire community. Similarly, I’m eager to learn more from my mentor, Lily Foote, and gain deeper insights while contributing meaningful improvements. As this is my first Django open-source contribution, I welcome all feedback from peers and community members. I’m confident this project will make a meaningful impact on Django’s ecosystem, and I look forward to collaborating with you all!
