Introducing dj-redis-panel, bring redis querying and key management to the django admin

Hey everyone. I’ve built a tool for querying and inspecting redis instances inside of the django admin. Please take a look, and hopefully it is of use to somebody here. All feedback is welcome.

Wow, that looks very interesting!
Will definitely give it a try anytime.
Thanks for sharing.

This is really cool!

I’ve just started using it today, and I’m impressed. So far it has been working smoothly and flawlessly.

This is indeed cool. I have made a note to look at adding a mention to my Django DX book—it’s the perfect kind of "extra” that can make development easier.

Thanks Ken. This grew out of an annoyance of having to go the redis-cli (or some other tool) to check if a key was created/destroyed; It seemed natural to have something in the admin panel to look this up if I’m primarily using redis on django. glad you like it.

Quick update for this project.

with version 0.6.0 dj-redis-panel can now handle encoding schemes other than utf-8 - even environments with mixed encodings can work.

I believe this likely rounds out the major key feature points for a project like this. Now I am looking for more people to take this for a spin so that I can handle bugs and issues as they come up.
