Static files not working

I trying to set up my static files

the console is telling 404 not found

I don’t know to much but as far as know I know you don’t have to define static_root, staticfile_dir, instead define media_root and add media_url and media_root in url.

Can add a line: print(BASE_DlR) into your settings.py file, than run at terminal : python settings.py to check the path of static files.

@Dadduu2001 - Static files and media files are two separate things in Django, and are managed two different ways.

Please explain what you’d like clarified.

If it’s on the difference between static and media files, static files are files that are part of your project, and media files are files that have been uploaded by a user or otherwise created by your project after the project has been deployed.
