The Code of Conduct Working Group has been on a multi-month project to propose adopting Contributor Covenant 3 as Django’s Code of Conduct. To that end we have opened a pull request to make the text changes to our CoC. Anytime there’s a change to the CoC text itself approval is required by the DSF Board. You can look at the PR for feedback from the board and we welcome you to give any comments or questions you have there as well.
