BCH+: A Workflow-Oriented HTML to Blade/Django Converter

Hi everyone :raised_hand:
I recently released a template converter called BCH+, and I’d love to hear your thoughts.

At first glance, it might seem like “just another converter.” After all, AI can already handle HTML-to-Blade conversion. But when I asked ChatGPT to review it, it said: “This isn’t a converter. It’s a workflow tool with a conversion function.”
Wait—what? I didn’t mean to build a workflow tool! So I’m turning to the community: what do you think?

How BCH+ differs from AI
AI: Runs on high-spec servers with powerful analytical capabilities.
BCH+: Runs at a reasonable speed even on the world’s lowest-spec development environment (HP Pavilion Win8.1, AMD A4-5000 1.50GHz, 6GB RAM). On a $5/month rental server (specs unknown), it’s blazingly fast!!

Key Features
***1.***DOM-level control: You can specify which DOM levels to convert, giving you flexible control over the output structure.
***2.***Team permissions: Set granular permissions for uploading, converting, and viewing/copying results—ideal for collaborative development.
***3.***Instant theme import: Pre-registered theme files can be loaded with a single click—no manual upload required.

For more details, please refer to the README in the GitHub repository. It contains a more in-depth explanation.

I’m not really sure I understand what your tool does, despite all the copy you’ve provided here, in your repo, and on your website. I guess that you provide it a directory of HTML files that represent a fully rendered site—perhaps a generic “theme pack”—and it outputs template files that use {% include %` for the repeated content. Is that right?

Also, I can’t see how your tool is available—the repository only has a readme and the website has nothing but a registration form.

Maybe my explanation wasn’t clear enough? Sorry.

You can’t use this unless you register as a user. For example, data you upload yourself is treated as that person’s personal data,
so it’s necessary to identify which person it’s associated with.
BCH+ is currently in alpha and don’t have two-step email authentication, so you can register with a fictitious email address.

The theme files stored in BCH+ are randomly downloaded from files distributed under the MIT license and are left as is, unmodified.
BCH+ can be converted into Django and Laravel template styles through DOM analysis.
You can specify whether common elements, such as footers and sidebars, are output in the base layout or as subviews,
so you can customize the output template to your liking.

Does this answer your question?

I’m still a bit lost on what your tool does. I think describing the inputs and outputs first in your README and documentation would make it the clearest. Show me exactly what kind of code you put in and get out.

I’m sorry, I don’t have time to register and try your tool out.

Thank you for taking the time to point out these issues.

I apologize for the insufficient explanation. I lack common sense in the IT industry, so I didn’t know how to prepare a post or what information to provide.

This Friday is a public holiday, and the bakery is in its busy season, so I will prepare more detailed materials to post on Github by next Monday. I will announce them again on this forum once they’re ready.

I’ve uploaded the HTML files for the two themes, as well as the results of converting them to Django and Laravel. I’ve also uploaded a simple guide on how to use them. Now you can check them without actually logging in.
