Hi everyone,
I’ve just published a retrospective on Django On The Med, a small standalone Django contributor sprint we organized outside the usual conference context.
The article is a follow-up written a few months after the event. It looks back at how the idea came together, the simple format we experimented with, what worked, what didn’t, and the kind of collaboration and outcomes that emerged beyond pull requests and GitHub activity.
I’m sharing it here in case it’s useful or interesting for others thinking about alternative sprint formats, especially those focused on human-scale collaboration and time spent working together without the structure of a conference.
