Django Rest Framework advice needed please

Hello good Django people!

I need a bit of advice about Django Rest Framework.

I have read through the docs (not all yet), i am watching tutorials and learning about the subject.

But it is somehow frustrating that one thing can be done in multiple ways, so i am lost.

When i ask chatgpt i always get the answer “what approach you are going to choose depends on your project requirements” but that answer is not really helpful.

What advice could i get from the community here? Is there an approach i can choose and focus on that approach (for no matter how simple or complex the project is)?
