I’ve recently started exploring contributions to django-stubs with a particular interest in improving type safety around django.conf.settings. Since this is related to static typing rather than Django core itself, I was wondering if there are contributors or mentors familiar with django-stubs who could help point me in the right direction for getting started, reviewing approach, or suggesting open issues.
I’d be grateful for any guidance, or pointers to the best place to connect with the right folks.

I was also wondering if there’s any active dev chat (Gitter, Discord, etc.) for django-stubs contributors, or if anyone here would be open to providing some mentorship/guidance as I start working on type improvements around django.conf.settings. Having someone to sanity-check ideas or point me in the right direction would be really valuable.
I guess that the best place to start would to be open an issue.
