I’m Mohamed Saeed, a Software Engineering student, an ISTQB Foundation Level Certified Tester, and an AI trainee at ALX.
I have hands-on experience in software testing, test case design, bug reporting, and SDLC/STLC concepts. I also use Python in my AI and machine learning projects, along with C++, HTML, and CSS.
I’m very interested in contributing to Django for GSoC 2026, especially the Playwright Testing Project, because it combines my interest in automated testing and development.
I am now on the “Getting Started Contributing to Django” blog post, including the section about finding beginner-friendly tickets. I’m currently exploring the available issues to find a good place to start contributing.
I’m eager to learn, contribute to meaningful tasks, and become involved in the Django community. I would appreciate any guidance on tickets or areas that would be most relevant to the Playwright Testing Project.
