It feels like forward momentum has stalled for this, so I just made GitHub - adamghill/django-homepage: Redesigned djangoproject.com public. Maybe having something more concrete can push the conversation forward or it’d be useful for future inspiration.
To be clear, it’s probably 25% done? There is still lots of work to make it fit closer into the current Django site aesthetics (I basically just threw Tailwind together to get a prototype up), include some content from the current homepage, navigation bar changes, etc.
Anyway, this is as far as I got: https://django-homepage.adamghill.com. Just a reminder that this doc informed my approach.
- I’d love help in the form of PRs to the repo.
- I am explicitly not looking for drive-by critical feedback without PRs.
