Commenting on already closed Ticket or new Ticket

Hey there,

I recently found a Bug in Django and after some search a related Issue. The Issue was already closed, because it could not be replicated. The mentioned minimal example is indeed not enough (atm at least) to trigger the bug.

So I commented the a working minimal example, but did not get any feedback (10 days now).

I don’t mind, if it takes longer. I’m just wondering, if my comment now is kind of under the radar, because the ticket is closed and I should’ve opened a new Issue instead?

The subscribers on the ticket will have been notified, including Natalia, one of the fellows. It’s likely she just didn’t get around to the notification yet.

Since you found a reproducer, I think it’s fair that you reopen the ticket and mark it as “Accepted”. And you have a potential fix - would you be able to make a PR?
