I think the “Making it happen” are key stakeholders rather than an assignee.
Above Thibaud mentioned:
if any specific idea feels interesting to people I’d recommend starting a new forum thread about it (or finding an existing thread).
So, you could start a forum thread on this topic and share your ideas as to how to approach this.
Some thoughts:
- Django follows Diataxis. To me, this sounds like we need an “explanation” (Explanation - Diátaxis) and we could have a new topic in our docs for “Frontend approaches”.
- Decide clear goals for the documentation (what will the reader get from this?)
- Research past forum discussions (might be interesting: Tutorial: How to Combine Frontend and Backend (For Python Web Developers)) or DjangoCon talks (like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GObi93tjZI). This might help for content but also tell you who might be able help you write and review these docs.
- Use the Developer Survey results to drive decisions as to which frameworks are worth specifically mentioning (Django Developers Survey 2022 Results) like React, htmx, Vue (etc.)
