Natalia Bidart - Taking a planned short-term Fellow break 🌿

Hello community! :waving_hand:

I have published a short post on the official Django blog :megaphone: about my planned three-month break, but I also wanted to add a more personal note here.

After more than three years as a Django Fellow, my brain has started giving me some increasingly clear hints that it needs a proper reset :brain:. So, during November, December, and January, I will be taking a break from my Fellow duties .

I feel very privileged to be a Django Fellow, and I deeply appreciate :green_heart: the full support of the DSF Board, Sarah, Jacob, and the members of the teams, SC, and working groups I participate in. Knowing that everything will be well looked after makes it much easier to fully unplug. :electric_plug: :high_voltage:

And I do mean fully unplug from Fellow work! :person_in_lotus_position: I will be mostly disconnected from Trac, pull requests, the Forum, chat, and my djangoproject.com email. I will still keep an eye on direct messages, mentions, and emails to my personal account, and I don’t mind hearing from you there :speaking_head:. With the end-of-year holidays coming up, hopefully you will barely notice I am not around! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I am genuinely excited to take this time off, and equally excited to return with renewed energy. I have planned lots of hands-on projects, including woodworking, which I love :wood: :hammer: :carpentry_saw:.

See you in February! :sparkles:
