Hi all!
Since everyone now has a free seat on github copilot, I was wondering if someone thinks it would be a good idea to try to smoothen the process of translating Django documentation?
I am not suggesting to have this completely automated thou. What I have in mind would be to have a github action that every change made to the documentation, would trigger copilot to propose a translation for the change in all supported languages. It would be up to the usual humans to make the call to accept, disregard or improve the proposed change.
The reason I am proposing this is that I often find it easier to review such change than to come up with a translation myself. On the other hand, this could bring a wave of “good enough” translations that no human would have proposed but that they still decide to accept from AI because it would be “close enough”.
Note: I have no idea of the actual feasibility of this or if this is something that would even work with copilot, but I thought I’d ask here before investigating further.
What do you all think?
